Hair Color Allergy Patch Test

Color allergies are rare, but can develop at any time, even without prior reactions.

Classic hair colors include single solid shades applied to the entire hair canvas; root touch ups (no foils), gloss, full color, and toners.

Other hair colors are especially advanced and intricate.  Multiple colors are used or color is mixed in with your natural color.  Multi dimension.  These include, foils, hair paintings, ombré, sombré, balayage and more.

Some colors can be done in one process, while others may take multiple steps and processes.

Full Color/Gloss/Regrowth Touch Up

Single palette. No foils. Solid shade.  100% Saturation.  Root/regrowth touch up, gloss, or all over color.  *No very dark to light  bleach blonde retouches

Fashion Color

Fashion hair colors are the hues not in the traditional or natural hair spectrum. Pinks, rose gold, blues, purples, silver hair are some examples.  Mermaid hair, metallic hair, rainbow, peacock, jewel tones, sunsets are some inspiration. This can be applied in any style, balayage, ombre, underlights, foils, etc.  Creative colors are a lifestyle and require extra care to maintain vibrancy.

Balayage & Hair Paintings

Balayage, sometimes called hair painting, translates from French meaning to sweep or to paint. Hair color is swept and painted onto hair. It allows for dimensional highlights that feather up to the root, with softer, less noticeable regrowth lines. This can be subtle, or dramatic.  Somtimes a "shadow root"  technique at the regrowth area for a natural effect Is used.  Balayage is mostly done in shades of blonde and brunette, but this can also be paired with creative, vivid, fashion color.

Ombré/Color Melt

Ombré translates to "shaded" in French. Also called a color melt, because of the blending of one color to another, usually creating a gradient from darker shades to light. Each ombré is personal, some are high contrast, (exp:black to blonde) others, less contrast, (exp: dark brown to medium brown) also know as sombré- subtle ombré. This can be done with any color gradient. Fantasy or a natural palette.

Foiling/Full Foil, Partial Foil

Strands of hair are intricately weaved and colored creating highlights and lowlights. This can be created  with any hair color combination.

Toner

This is a gloss to adjust the tone of your hair color and maintain proper pH levels by smoothing the cuticle layers of the strands.  Best for counteracting unwanted yellow and orange tones.  Can be used to maintain icy and neutral shades; or a clear glossing can be used to maintain health after blonding

Color Correction

Hair color gone wrong?  Text to schedule a complimentary consultation as every case is unique.  Some hair color corrections are simple while others more time consuming and are priced accordingly.

Shadow Root

Also called root shadow or root melt. This hair color technique uses a palette of medium and darker colors to create depth and darkness at the root area while still maintaining highlights or fashion color.

Double Process Color

This  for colors requiring pre lightening or color removal beforehand.  Usually for dark hair to lighter makeovers or fashion colors
